Feeling good in Hotel Das Walchsee
Good sweat!
Although the word sauna is of Finnish origin, Finns did not invent sweating. In Finland, however, sweat parlors enjoy great popularity and widespread use. This is also the case in Austria. Doing good for yourself: for us, this clearly includes maximum rest and relaxation, among other things, in our sauna area.
approx. 80 - 100 °C | approx. 6 - 15% humidity
8 to 15 minutes of sweating in the Finnish sauna promotes blood circulation in the respiratory tract and skin. The body temperature rises up to 39 °C during the sweating phase - this artificial "fever" gets the immune system going.
approx. 60 - 70 °C | approx. 40 % humidity
In contrast to the Finnish sauna, the bio sauna is characterized by its lower temperature, which heats the body more slowly and is therefore gentler on the circulation.
approx. 45 °C | approx. 100 % humidity
The intensive steam and mist formation relaxes the respiratory tract and relieves, among other things, movement pain. Thus an ideal regeneration possibility after the sport.
Healthy sweating already from 30°C, relaxation through gentle heat. The even heat radiation relieves complaints such as tension, joint pain or back pain. The recommended duration of use is a maximum of 30 minutes.
Feel free to use our various oils such as "hay flower" or "summer apple" for infusions!
These are our standard opening hours due to our sustainability concept. However, we are happy to open earlier on request - just let reception know.
