Walchsee is not just located in a dreamy idyll, it is also right in the centre of Tyrol in the Kaiserwinkl. Just an hour’s drive takes you to: Salzburg, Munich or Innsbruck! Kitzbühel, St. Johann and the Wilder Kaiser are actually much closer and you can even cycle to Kufstein. Plenty of culture, sights and excursion destinations are available in Tyrol and the surrounding area. So it doesn’t matter if you it is your summer or winter holiday you want to enjoy in the region.
Whether children, teenagers or adults: In the new trampoline hall in the Zahmer Kaiser leisure park, our guests can jump back and forth on an area of over 2,000 m². Here, 24 different trampolines await the visitors. In addition to the longest mini kart track in Western Austria, there are various jumping areas and a KIDS PLAYGROUND to discover. The little and big acrobats are in demand at the Wal Running and Bagjump. Those who want to challenge their dexterity and athleticism can take on the famous Ninja Warrior course. A visit to the Zahmer Kaiser trampoline hall is not to be missed on your family holiday at Walchsee.
The Zahmer Kaiser amusement park is located in Durchholzen near Walchsee. Here, especially families get their money's worth. Different attractions, games and an extensive outdoor area await you, which is open from May to the end of September. In winter, the Zahmer Kaiser Leisure Park transforms into a family-friendly ski area with a 4-seater chairlift and T-bar lift. Winter lovers can also let off steam on the 3 km long toboggan run and in the ski touring park. From late December to mid-March, visitors can also rent ski touring equipment and toboggans.

Pure adrenaline: that's the motto on the Zahmer Kaiser summer toboggan run. To the middle station, the starting point of the toboggan run, you can either walk or take the 4-seater chairlift. Once you reach the top, you can choose between a one-seater or two-seater toboggan. Accompanied by magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, the Walchsee lake and the animal enclosure, you'll be speeding downhill. All passengers have the speed in their own hands.
A whole kingdom of native wild animals and plants invites you to go on a voyage of discovery in this natural wildlife park. Red deer, lynxes, wild boars, owls and numerous other animal species cavort peacefully in the 80,000 square metre nature park. Recreation and an intensive view of nature are the focus here.
The Wildbichl Game Park is an exciting destination for the whole family that will delight young and old alike. Children can let off steam in the large children's playground, which offers slides and swings as well as a cable car. For even more action, there are also water games, bumper cars and a play dredger. On the other hand, you will find an atmospheric ambience for more peace and quiet in the Tiroler Stube (Tyrolean parlour) or the König-Ludwig-Stube (King Ludwig parlour). In summer, the shady garden invites you to linger and drink coffee.

The Rarities Zoo Ebbs is Tyrol's flagship for exotic animals. In this privately run zoo you can marvel at over 500 animals belonging to 70 different species from all over the world. Dogs on a short leash are also allowed in the park - however, some park animals roam free. So mutual consideration is very important. If you want to see even more animals, you can then visit the Fohlenhof in Ebbs (right next to the zoo). A modern, large stud farm with about 100 Haflingers!
After visiting the kangaroo, coati and horse, it is worth taking a short detour to the St. Nicholas Chapel. Only a 10 to 15 minute walk separates the excursion destinations of Tyrol. The view sweeps over the blessed Inn Valley to the town of Kufstein with its picturesque fortress and leads to the mountain ranges of the Brixen and Zillertal valleys all the way to Bavaria. There is no more beautiful vantage point above Ebbs.

Stroll through the old town and visit Kufstein's landmark: the fortress on the 90-metre-high Fortress Hill. Listen here to the Heldenorgel (Heroes' Organ), which sounds daily at 12 noon for 10 minutes.
